Which memory will give me better performance in rendering photos and editing in programs such as Photoshop, Cinema 4D, and Adobe AE?

Memory speed only effects performance on IGPU's. Not in gaming or rendering. Save yourself the money and grab 2133. I assume your using DDR4?

Honestly, it will make very little difference if any. If they are the same price, the 2400 cas 10 should be slightly faster. It's larger latency measure is offset by its higher clock so that it will actually have slightly less latency even though it takes an extra cycle.

Does 8gb vs 16gb make a difference in those tasks?

If you are doing serious work, its probably worth it to go for 16gb. It's better to spend on getting more RAM rather than faster RAM (at least for speeds >= 1600 MHz)

16gb 2133 cas 9 Trident X is 13$ cheaper than 2400 cas 10 Trident X, which one?

devils canyon at 5.0 ghz, interesting!!. hardware wise you can easily run high speed ddr3. i see you have 1866 @10-11-10-30 . if you are involved into serious business faster ram can make a difference when time is money.!

i would get 2400mhz cl 10 and yes plenty of ram is needed at such tasks.! so 16gb easily!
