We are entering a new phase of the rollout for Windows 11, version 22H2 and we are increasing its availability to all who check for updates on eligible Windows devices. Note that, if we detect that your device might have an issue, such as an application incompatibility, we might put a safeguard hold in place and not offer the update until that issue is resolved. Information regarding safeguard holds is available below on this page.
Thank you, so the following: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ne...th-intel-audio-drivers-triggers-blue-screens/ doesn't apply to me even though I have intel smart sound technology? Cheers.yes, afaik if its not been offered, it will be.

Not sure what you mean by "language icons".
Add more description and detail about what you want to get rid of.
Probably not doable unless there are user options within the website code.
There were four grey boxes with black lettering (German maybe) when I first looked. Then the boxes disappeared.
May have been some website glitch.
I can't be a hundred percent sure because I'm confused as to why my laptop hasn't offered it yet, I am concerned the intel sound technology issue has put a block on my device. You can always do manual upgarde using windows assisstant, that is if you are absolutly sure it is compatible.
The issue has re-surfaced again with 22H2 for many users. That article is from November last year, I would hope its fixed by now.
Win 10 22H2 is released 18/10/22 - I know you didn't ask but I thought I would look... that is tomorrow.
nothing, just ignore it.Sorry, bit confused. What does Win 10 22H2 and tomorrow mean?
and if they right, it is just 11th gen. I don't know anymore than they do.Microsoft recommends not to manually update affected systems to Windows 11 22H2 using the Media Creation Tool or the 'Update now' button until the problem is addressed and the safeguard is removed.
"The affected driver will be named Intel Smart Sound Technology (Intel SST) Audio Controller under System Devices in Device Manager and have the file name IntcAudioBus.sys and a file version of 10.29.0.5152 or 10.30.0.5152," Microsoft explained.
Okay thanks. I've tried looking for updated Intel audio controller from Lenovo but they don't have one. Not sure what to do as they say 11th gen. Should I just wait until full rollout has been confirmed?nothing, just ignore it.
I expect you meant to link to this one: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ne...ed-due-to-blue-screens-on-some-intel-systems/
and if they right, it is just 11th gen. I don't know anymore than they do.
Yeah I did and I do have that audio driver and the version they mentioned installed, but they said it only affects 11th gen and I have 10th gen CPU. On my other laptop I have 22H2 and I really like it, plus it will need to be updated eventually. Not sure how long 21H2 version is supported for and whether mitigated, external when OEM hasn't provided any updates for the driver means they've fixed it or they've found a workaround until they completely fix the issue.did you check to see if your audio driver version is one of the 2 mentioned?
You aren't missing a lot. I had to go looking to see what they changed as it didn't affect me.
Thanks for your help.Guess you need to wait for Intel to release an update.
That or possibly get BSOD.
I would wait
21H2 is supported for a few more years. They used to support at least 3 versions, there are only 2 now. Win 11 21H2 end of life is Oct 2023 - you won't have to wait that long
I doubt Intel will take long to fix it. You might get it through windows update.
