Hi everyone,

I recently purchased the HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless headphones, replacing my old HyperX Stinger Core. While the Stinger Core provided clear and well-balanced sound, the new HyperX Cloud 3 seems to have some issues with the sound, especially in games like CS2.

Specifically, the gunshot sounds seem very echoey, almost as if I'm shooting in an empty room, and there's an overwhelming bass presence. This wasn't the case with my previous headphones, and I'm concerned that this might be a configuration or compatibility issue with the 7.1 surround sound feature.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with this model? If so, how did you manage to resolve it? Any suggestions on how to adjust the sound settings or fix the echo/bass problem would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to return the headset as I love HyperX products, but I'm hoping to improve the audio quality.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hopefully, someone will be able to post specific ideas and suggestions to improve or fix audio quality.

In the meantime, I suggest that you also contact HyperX as well.

Start with their FAQs and/or Customer Support - if any.

Look for what is said as well as what is unsaid.

Simply make the problems and your concerns known.

Find your receipt and all other related product documentation to present.

State the facts.

How HyperX responds may guide you in whether or not to return the headphones.

Unfortunately, many people experience having a company and/or product they love go into decline for any one of a number of reasons.

Overall, about the only recourse available is to sooner or later spend your money elsewhere.

Sadly, there are few guarantees even with that.....
