Hi there. I currently have a gtx 1050 ti pheonix and a hp elite 8300 with a 240 psu. I have bought a pciexpress riser cable and was wondering if this gpu can work on this psu. Its a single fan and uses pcie power to power it. Im pretty sure it will work but im not confident. Specs 4gb ×2 ddr3 ram, 240w psu , i5 3570.
Thanks in advance.

Even though the card only needs power via the PCIe slot, I wouldn't advise using anything less than a 300w PSU for it, and a quality one at that (which the factory-fit HP one is unlikely to be).

The factory-fit HP one will have been chosen on the basis that it's just enough for the system specs that existed when it left the factory - - - your adding something which is going put 75w more load on the PSU but I very much doubt it has 75w more to give. I wouldn't risk it.

Well i done a rough calculation and it seems i have 200w used in whole thing as i disconnnected the dvd rom and im not planning on overclocking or that
