I wanted to buy this Adata kit, ax3u2400w8g11-dgv , which runs at 2400mhz using 1,65v. But I heard this speed isn´t good for my processor, so can I safely buy it and configure it to run at 21133mhz using 1,5v? (kind of an underclock).

Solution

Depending on what your manufacturer says. They may say 1.65v for 2133 Mhz. That is what my 2133Mhz was 1.65v.
It is more likely that 1.5v will go with 1866Mhz. To find that out you must contact Adata. They Know. Unless you find someone who has contacted a data. Don't Guess or listen to someone who may be guessing. Also the recommended Memory for your processor is 1600 Mhz.
http://ark.intel.com/products/80807 It is on the list.
Likely the higher Mhz ram performance increase is slim and none. Your on chip memory controller runs Best with 1600 Mhz. That what Intel says it is set to. But maybe Intel is wrong or I have missed something.

But here http://www.adata.com/upload/downloadfile/2400MHz%20XPG%20V2.0%20Datasheet.pdf it says that at 1,5v, it runs at 1333mhz... maybe to run at 2133 voltage should be adjusted to 1,6v. But Patriot mamba 3 black runs at 2133 with 1,5.

So, is Patriot the best to go with, or there are other things that can influence voltage such as latency?

P.s: Sorry for the noobieness, and thanks for the help.

The 2400 Sticks, should run easily at 2133 with 1.6, maybe 1.55. It will depend on the individual set you get, I've got a couple of their 2400/11 sets and they run well at 2133/10 1.6 and at 2133/11 with 1.55. ALso for info purposes there's no problem with 2400 and 1.65, in part some may depend on what CPU you are running, which isn't listed

It is a 4790k. I just wanted to run these adata at the same speed and voltage of the patriot black mamba 3 viper, because I found these adata cheaper here... How do I do it? Maybe same timings?

What processor do you have?

Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer. They will be happy to give you the Right timings and Voltages. They know their product. Tell them what you have and that you want to underclock .
