Question 240hz monitor not displaying properly

Recently bought a 240hz omen monitor and I finally set it up, the display settings list all the modes and I’m able to choose 1920 by 1080 but it says my refresh rate is 1 Hz.. I have pictures but I have no clue how to post them here, I just made an account because of the problem I was having.

what connection are you using? dp/hdmi/dvi? the version?

No idea what a gpu is, but my cpu is a Ryzen 5 3600.. using a display port cable.. and I’m assuming you’re asking about Windows?.. Windows 10
