hello all.
i just bought a "VIZIO - M-Series - 55" Class (54-5/8" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - 240Hz - Smart - 3D - HDTV"
model: M551d-A2R
(i would link to model on vizio.com but the website appears to be down at the moment)
i have a Geforce GTX-680 for my gpu.
the TV supposedly has a refresh rate of 240hz but when i connect the tv to the PC via HDMI it won't display a refresh rate over 60hz... i've tried every way i could search for on google to find a solution to up the frame rate but nothing works.
yes i am using an HDMI 1.4 cable.
and before anyone says that there isn't a difference or any of that jazz, i can tell you that there is a difference... when i watch blu-ray movies from my ps3 they look A LOT better than they do playing them from the PC. (the reason i prefer the PC is because it has surround sound, where the ps3 does not)
i would even accept 120hz if possible... just more than 60.
i would like to remedy this, any help is appreciated.
