I currently have a 9800GTX+ running in my system.

Current hardware is AMD X 3 720 BE at 3.2
4GB of Gskill DDR2 RAM
790FX Mobo
750 W Corsair psu
1920X1080 monitor

Im toying with the idea of a full platform upgrade, but if that happens, ill need to wait another 2. I havnt been keeping up on the latest hardware and have no real idea if anything is coming out graphics wise.

my mobo is 790fx so crossfire is an option.

just move on kid, all other parties in this thread have left it alone and moved on but you.
when your wrong just man up and not keep the issue going making yourself look even more immature.
isn't it time for you to get ready and go to school.?
when you actually get a system and not referring to your older brother's unit or your dad's then we can talk..
till then kid, adios..

Don't talk crap to me you pissant. I hadn't posted a thing in the thread while you and idiot boy jjb talked crap about bulldozer, then that other idiot with the number in his name came in with an assault on me while you stood by and agreed. Run away because you can't take the truth.

cmon guys, this thread was about helping a member out with a decision on what piece of hardware to get, not an argument about benchmarks, then brands, now obviously youve met in another thread?

All of this aside, OP should get the card that best fits his budget between the 560Ti and the 6950; this is coming from someone that doesnt care what brand i get, i just always go for what my budget allows and who has the better card in that price bracket. They are both good performers in their price range, and OP should get what suits him best and be happy no matter which one out of the two he chooses because at the end of the day, its his money. I would suggest the 560Ti if you are planning to OC or the 6950 non reference if its the cheaper buy. Whichever you choose will make you happy, as both offer good performance

Ive got a great case for OC. Its a CM stacker 830.

I bumped the voltage to 1.520 and set the multi to 17.5 with a bus of 200 so im at a stable 3.5 which is probably where im goint to stop. My temps are at 39 C with Prime95 heat test so i feel pretty safe for now.

with the CM case ive got 3 120 mm fans on the side blowing air over the cpu, ram and gpu so ill check temps every now and again, but so far it looks good. Funny how the 6950 is the lowest score on my windows index lol.
