Hello,
i upgraded from windows vista to windows 7 first i downloaded online it took days to upgrade which used up my gbytes att gave me a credit and i purchased the software from microsoft they sent me two cds this was in 2010 i no longer have the dissc and windows is requesting i put in a product key which i no longer have therefore i cannot access internet explore how do i retrieve my product key

An online purchase from Microsoft usually includes an email with your product key. If you did not receive this via mail and were careless enough to lose you key, then you have no choice but to phone MS and hope they believe your story.
