Hey everyone!

I would like to share this question with you. A lot of benchmarks about Everything exists these Days, but there is limited information about difference between RAMs over 2666Mhz on the 9th gens.

My question specifically is if I change my ram from a Corsair 2x8GB DDR4 2666Mhz Vengeance Pro CL16, to a 2x8GB DDR 3000Mhz CL15/CL16 would provide any benefits on my gaming experience.

The build:
Asus rog Z390-F (with standard speeds up to 2666Mhz)
Corsair 2x8GB DDR4 2666Mhz Vengeance Pro CL16 (16-18-18-35)
I7-9700k
RTX 2080
PSU 850W
Kraken X52 cooling
1440p IPS panel with G-sync activated on 165Mhz.

I´m currently running the latest BIOS with XMP enabled and standard 2666Mhz RAM speed.
I play mostly WoW, Witcher 3, Overwatch and generally, "demanding" RPGs and shooters, planning on playing Anthem, RE 2 etc.
The company techies I bought my parts from, reassured me that I would only see a significance of 2-3FPS or 1% overall performance improve with a 3000Mhz over a 2666Mhz and I bought that.
Should I return it and change it to 3000Mhz or higher?

PS: I know RGBs improve performance.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you both for your answers. I have very basic knowledge of how RAM affects my gaming and I am still a bit confused if one should go higher than 2666 or even 3200 for more FPS or more stable gaming.
