27 inch 1440p

Just got a 1070 looking to upgrade my cheap 1080 p monitor. Looking for a decent relatively cheap 1400p, 27 inch monitor. Budget probably around 400 quid which sadly probably works out around 400 dollars. 144hz or anything above 60 would be great but not absolutely necessary

Wow you really got no love on this request. I recently bought a 27inch Dell S2716DG. Bit more than you were looking for. I love the dells for the superior stands and pretty good calibration out of the box.

for some reason S2716DGR is selling cheaper than the S2716DG for some reason. I always thought the extra R stood for revision.

Actually the R means retail. It simply distinguishes between the online sales like Amazon to the brick and mortar stores like Best Buy. The two models are identical.

So.... this is gonna be really wierd. At the local Microcenter they are selling the S2716DG for $499.99. But, they are selling the S2716DGR for $449.99. That is 50 dollar difference, on the supposed same identical model at the same store?

Yes I looked at the Microcenter ad. It shows slight differences between the two. Don't know why. I thought the information I gave was correct.

You were correct Dell said R stood for retail.
