27" Monitor for PC/XBOX/MEDIA

hey everyone
just setup my xbox 360 onto my pc monitor and it does not look good at all.
I'm looking for a new 27" monitor that works well with both PC gaming and xbox 360/one gaming.
I guess something all round good, for watching movies, playing fps/mmo & xbox 360
I'm not sure if that even exists?

Monitors are optimized specifically for PC use - the XBOX 360/One is optimized for standard TV installations - I know there will be solutions out there that will give you good performance in both....but it may be cheaper to buy a monitor for the PC and a TV for the XBOX's.

Yeah that is what I was thinking, hence the post here.

I have no room for an additional TV, am I doomed or?

Does it have to be 27"? I have two different 24" monitors and I have no issues at all.
