290 or 960

i cant decide what tobuy i orginally had 7950 sapphire boost until it died and been without for 3weeks i really want 970 though gotta wait another 2 weeks tobuy so my options are around 290 XFX DD or asus 290 or just pick up 960 mostly going to be using it for mmo's on 1080p atmo

Definitely go with the 290, that should be a no brainer.

Go with the 960 if power consumption is a concern, imo though if you care so much about power you probably shouldn't be gaming at all.
