Question Random parts of screen freeze out of nowhere

A few days ago I replaced my motherboard and cpu because my old parts were starting to be not good enough for me anymore. It also was my first time doing something like that but I don't think i broke anything. The pc turned on normally and everything was fine. The problem appeared a few days later after a windows update and downloading new mobo drivers. Parts of my screen just freeze in spots randomly now. It usually happens in either chrome or discord. Even though the specific part is frozen, I can still move my mouse over it and interact with stuff as if nothing was wrong. Alt tabing out of the app also seems to temporarily fix the issue. Another thing is that it never seems to freeze in any game and I believe it also intensifies if I have one running in the background. One more thing is that whenever i tried to screenshot it, it always looks fine on the screenshot as if nothing was wrong for whatever reason. I tried reinstalling windows, reinstalling graphics drivers and other things but nothing seems to work. I also attached a video of it happening.

Here's my specs in case it's important:
-asus b660 plus d4 mobo
-2x16 kingston fury ddr4 3200mhz cl16
-i5 12600kf
-radeon rx5600xt mech oc
-msi mpg a750gf 80+ gold 750w psu
-adapa xpg gammix s11 pro 250gb for os + 2x seagate barracuda hdds

I'd really appreciate all the help I can get because this has been driving me crazy for a while now and I have no clue what to do anymore.

Recreate your bootable USB installer for your OS, then install the OS in offline mode;

then while offline, install all necessary drivers for your platform, then hook up to the internet and let the OS run it's updates.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Just an FYI, you should've looked into a Z690 chipset motherboard to pair with your unlocked i5 processor.

Yeah i remember that i tried looking for a board with the z690 chipset but i couldnt find any suitable boards for me with it in stock anymore so i went with this one instead. as far as im aware the z690 allows you to overclock and im not really interested in doing that since i'd be a bit scared to do it to be honest.

Also in my bios version section in msinfo32 it says the bios is from 10/15/2024. I think theres a slightly newer version that came out like 2 weeks later but it doesn't look like they made any meaningful changes in the update logs but i'm not 100% sure.

Btw are there any other things i could try before another system reinstall? Doing those is quite time consuming and I really would want to avoid reinstalling again if not necessary. Oh and thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it a lot.

I kept messing around with drivers and stuff and it seems like installing some older GPU drivers seems to have fixed the issue for now? My best guess is that a recent windows 11 update simply messes with the new GPU drivers, hence the graphical errors. I stumbled across a few unaswered comments on reddit with the same issue with radeon GPUs mentioning their problems starting after a windows update posted not long ago so I believe its very likely that this could be the cause but I'll still do some testing to make sure it's fine now
