2gb vs 4gb gtx 960

Is the gtx 960 4gb worth 40$ more vs the 2gb which is 190$? Also, msi, gigabyte, or Evga gtx 960? What one is better?

Brands based on the same GPU core do not matter other than astetics and cooling and factory OC. A lot of people would say a 960's core isnt powerfull enough to take advantage of 4GB. But I would not pay extra $40 for the 4gb model

2gb r9 380 > 2gb gtx 960
4gb r9 380 > 4gb gtx 960

Unless you have a terrible power supply, in which case you need a 960.

If going 960 I'd get 4gb, there are a couple of games at 1080p which the 2gb can get stutter by trying use more than 2gb VRAM, GTA V for example. Ok you can drop settings but a little extra just get 4gb
