2k @ 144hz or 4k at 60hz

Solution
Deciding your refresh rate and resolution should take into account what you want to do. Competitive games like CS:GO and Overwatch would benefit more from the 2k at 144hz assuming you have a GPU that can output this, while 4k would help more visual games look prettier where frame rate doesn't matter as much. I can't recommend a 4k monitor but for a 2k monitors the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q and PG278QR aren't bad. Both are 2560x1440 but they're also 165Hz instead of 144Hz. Both have G-SYNC while the PG279Q is IPS at a 5ms response time and the PG278QR is 1ms but it isn't IPS so the colors won't be as accurate or nice to look at.
