Hello, i going to build my second gaming pc and this time i want to make a very good one.

I basically need a full list of the components considering i only have the peripherals and the monitor (cant get any component from the old pc).The monitor i have is an LG ultrawide 34'' that can reach 2k resolution so i'm wondering if i can build a pc for around 1000 euro and get max details on 2k resolution with almost any game that is currently on the market.

I asked a guy that knows a lot more than me on these things and he suggested me this build:
i5 6500
asrock h170 pro4
sink raijintek themis
ram 2x4gb ddr4 2133mhz
amd r9 fury tri-x
hdd caviar blue 1tb
chaser a31
antec tp 650c
ssd 250gb

This build would be fine but the only issue is that it costs around 1300 euro.

I hope you guys can help me lowering the price. Thanks in advice :D

You could save a bit by dropping down to a 1150 or AM3+ DDR3 based system as the memory is cheaper and also the motherboards and a R9 390 or 390X which should save you some money off the budget whilst still getting 1440p at max details for most games. Most games are GPU limited and adding more to your budget on CPU and Memory will not yield much difference overall other then adding to the budget.

With only 1000€ i would say that on 2k you could only get low framerates (low 30s) or reduced settings....

You are on the fringe with the r9 fury tri-x but your main bet it SLI/Cossfire as is more cost effective (if the SLI works with the game ofc) also with a card that cost 600+€ you could not mount a proper PC with the remaining 400-€.

at 1440p I'd advise you read the reviews whether the performance bump is worth the additional cost is your call

And 1000 euros is easily done for 1440p. I built a 8320 OC'd system with a 390 that runs 60+ fps in most instances (apart from GTA V that games just rediculous) at 2560x1440 late last week at under £800. Which equates to just over 1000 euro's.

If you want to stick to 2k (i suppose you means QHD for a monitor) and 1000€ you have not a really good option, maybe a r9 390x (more or less 450€) will alow you to build the rest of the system (but dont expect top performing parts).

Yea i've read some reviews and i think for the 2k the fury its probably the best option. You talked about the gpu, the one i posted is for about 200 euro , is there a cheaper option for that ?

Crysis 3 is one instance of poorly optimised coding. I'd advise you read more reviews. At 1440p the 390 is aimed at that resolution and averages (in most instances) between 55 and 80 which is greater then the vsync refresh rate so becomes a moot point.

You do also know that bittech is an Intel/Nvidia fan site don't you?
