Question 2nd monitor ?

Hello

i just finished my 1440p build and was wondering if someone could recommend a secondary Monitor , I got

ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ1A 27" monitor Ips​

would having same make sense of same model but non IPS and save some money? They are about 50 euro cheaper and i won't be using it as primary gaming monitor anyways.

My advice is to spend the extra 50 euros and buy the exact duplicate monitor.
If you go cheap, you will forever be second guessing yourself.

The benefit of a duplicate monitor is that web pages will span properly and the colors and images will match.
In the event of a monitor failure, you will have an exact backup.
There may be some games that can take advantage of dual monitors.

It depends on what you need the monitor for. If you need one the same size, I would get a duplicate because it makes a lot of things simpler and you have image parity.

Yes, that is a good way to reuse an otherwise useless monitor.
Keep static stuff like email or performance monitors on it.
