I installed a second SSD for additional storage space. Both SSDs I have are the same model: Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive. Although the new drive is showing up in my device manager it is not showing up in the disk management or in storage space, so, I cannot format or use. I noted that both SSDs are listed as identically: "CTX250BX100SSD1" so maybe this causing problems. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

On the off chance it matters, the specs of my computer are:
Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 960 4GB Video Card
Power: Antec High Current Gamer 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Running Windows 7

Hey there, atuckjones!

I'd recommend you to check the SATA connection and even try with a different SATA cable if you have a spare at hand. I'd also suggest you to try using the Command Prompt line (Run as Administrator) and use the DiskPart command > then type list disk. Check if you'd be able to see both drives there. You can also refer to MS for guidelines on the DiskPart commands. You can also try formatting the SSD from there.

Hope it helps. Keep us posted! :)
