Wanting to add a 2nd wireless router in a bedroom. I'm installing a TP link power line adaptor kit to get signal into the room as the current router isn't supplying a usable signal.

The main router is a Cisco valet m10. The goal is to use a Roku device and other wireless devices in this room. Can this be done? Is it as simple as just adding another router? There is not a PC in this room nor are there plans for one.

Any advise is appreciated...

Solution
Yes just hook one side of your poweline adapter to your current router with an Ethernet cable. Then add a wireless AP or wireless router to your bedroom and hook it to the other powerline adapter. If you use a router in the bedroom instead of a wireless AP, then you need to go in and disable DHCP on the new router and make sure you connect the powerline adapter to one of its LAN ports, and not use its WAN port. Make sure on both your routers that you use only channel 1,6, or 11. Of those three make sure each router uses a different channel. You can use the same SSID on both routers.
