I'm looking to get a laptop soon and need a lot of storage. Is there a 2tb or more 2.5 in drive that I can put into a laptop? I've came up pretty empty but I thought I might have some luck on here? Any help would be lovely. Also I have a few but they are pretty pricey and are there any that are cheaper?

Hello TheRFSpark. First of all, thank you for considering Seagate for your purchase. We do have drives that are 2.5" with 2 TB but they come with 5400 RPM's. If you would like the 7200 RPM's version then the maximum drive size available is 1 TB. All hard drives in the BarraCuda family come equipped with Multi-Tier Caching Technology (MTC). MTC takes your PC to new performance levels, so you can load applications and files faster than ever before. By applying intelligent layers of NAND Flash, DRAM and media cache technologies, BarraCuda delivers improved read and write performance by optimizing data flow.

Hope this information helps in your search and what ever brand you choose, we thank you for considering Seagate.

Looking at Amazon, I see many that are around $80-$100.

Link? I couldn't find any.

Well..7200RPM (not said in your initial post) does limit the options a LOT.
Reason...7200RPM is worse on battery than a 5400. In a laptop, battery is (almost) everything.

Might be time to consider an SSD, instead of a spinning drive.
