Question MSI Pro B850M-A Reviews / Concerns???

Hello, I am looking at the MSI Pro B850m-A motherboard. I literally cannot find anything on the internet about this MOBO except for one review on newegg. It looks like a really solid board and comes with 2 USB C port in the io which is rare for this price range. I can snag it for $150 right now. What are your thoughts?

I was initially considering the Asrock B850M Riptide but after seeing so many issues, it is hard to tell if that is just the internet echo chamber or a real issue.

I don't really want to spend more than $200 on a mobo if I can avoid it. Any help would be great. Thanks!

What processor are you looking to pair the board with?

Seems to be feature rich with an 8+2+1 VRM design but the audio chip on it is an ALC897 which isn't something I'd like to have but apart from that bit, it's something to get your feet wet.

I don't really want to spend more than $200 on a mobo if I can avoid it.
That would depend on your workload for the proposed build and the processor you're pairing with it.

I am going to be using it for gaming. I have a 9800x3d for the build. I'll have to look into the audio chip but i don't really know what that means for my use.

If I were you, and you don't have a problem with an atx board, I'd pick this;

and call it a day due to it being fully featured and robust. If you're working with an matx chsssis, then look into this;
