I have a motherboard that only has 1 m.2 slot I currently have a 1tb crucial SSD in there and it is formatted and works fine, I also have built in a 500gb hard drive. I just bought a 2tb crucial SSD and since I only have 1 M.2 slot I bought an adapter for PCIE1 to M.2 for this new 2tb SSD I hooked everything up set it all in the case booted up my PC and I get hit with nothing just my motherboards boot up screen, It shows all of the bios menu options on the side but when I press f2 or f11 or del it doesn't work so I couldn't format it. So instead I took my 1tb ssd out from the m.2 slot and took out the adapter completely and put in the crucial 2tb ssd into the m.2 slot on the mother board and the same thing happened, I cant format the ssd, or even log in , no way to get to my bios or do anything I need help.

full system spec? exact model of these ssd?
do the pc still boot with the old ssd?
Gtx 1660 ,ryzen 5 2600 ,16gb g skill ram,1tb crucial ssd,500gb built in hard drive, and a 550watt power supply , the mother boards an asrock a520m and yes it boots up fine with the 1tb crucial and 500gb hard drive in it, but when I put in the 2tb it doesn’t work even when I put it in an adapter for pcie to m.2 but I tried the normal m.2 slot too and it didn’t boot so idk
