Question 2tb HDD stop reading data after 1.5gb

Hi all
I have been storing some movies onto a hdd and the HDD stopped reading data for some reason

so I formatted and now I can only use 1.5gb of the drive after that I can copy files but can't read so I have lost 400gb

is there any reason for this?

Is disk with 2 or more partitions ?

Nope its just a normal drive that used to work flawlessly and now its not

Can you show full screenshot from Disk Management?
On 2TB drive usable capacity is 2'000'000'000'000 bytes = 1863 GB = 1.81TB.

Can you elaborate on this?

How did you determine only 1.5GB is usable?
Do you get any error, when trying to read some files? Can you show screenshot of the error?

it uses the full disk but once it goes over about 1600 the HDD slows right down and stops reading

What make/model drive is it BTW?
