found something about 1070ti sli vs 1080ti, for sure, spec wise, rtz 2080ti beats the 1080ti. if 1070ti sli is having issue beating the 1080ti, then no ways it will beat the 2080ti.

the conclusion is that you are heavily depended on the driver support for sli to work, and most game on day1 or week1 doesn't have sli support.

making 1080ti the better options. hence i would say, rtx 2080ti will be better.
