Which one is better for video editing?

Dual Intel Xeon X5650 2.67 GHz,
48 GB DDR3, Nvidia Quadro 4000 2 GB, 256 bit

or

i7-3820 3,6 GHz
32 GB DDR3, Nvidia GeForce GTX670 2 GB, 256 bit

The single i7 quad core would likely be faster at most games...but both rigs are outdated

I know they are outdated. I don't need them for game, but for video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects...)

I have these two systems available at work and I need to choose one of them.
I don't know which one to choose.
The other will be used for Photoshop and Illustrator... and for this both are good. But I am interested which one should be better for video editing. Video editing is more important. I know they are not good systems, but this is what I have available.

If you can use cuda acceleration wouldn't wither work? How many cores do the Xeons have?

No of Cores: 6 (2 logical cores per physical)

I use cuda from GPU, yes. But the processor is the most important.

6 core HT so that's 12C/24T? I'd go with that all day long for video editing if your software can use all the threads
