what the software?
using gaming gpu and not professional?
I use 3ds Max (VRay, FStorm), Photoshop, and a bunch of different software for creating 3D Virtual Tours, animations, etc...
3090s should work nicely for what I need.
But also, I would like to have a PC for everyday use.
In case there's some time left at the end of the day I like to play my favorite game: Overwatch. :)

One question: should I worry about PCI lines with this configuration?

One question: should I worry about PCI lines with this configuration?
So, this motherboard is one of the few remaining motherboards that is SLI compatible. It has 5 NVMe M.2 slots available of which 4 are PCIe 4.0 and 1 is PCIe 3.0. With 2 graphics cards on the board it does an x8/x8 PCIe 5.0 lane distribution which is plenty fast enough for 2 3090s. Its effectively equivalent to 2 PCIe x16 4.0 slots which is what these cards are supposed to be run on.

Thank you for your reply!

One more question: in August/September the new 4000 Series will be launched; do you maybe know if this motherboard will be able to support those GPUs?

Huh... Back again with another question. :)
You suggested Samsung 970 and 980 Pro SSDs.
What do you think about Kingston Fury Renegade NVMe?
Will I get better read/write speeds with it?
Like significantly better or it's only in milliseconds?

Never heard of it, though Kingston makes SSDs that are relatively good. I cannot say anything as to its performance. I do know that the Samsung SSDs I recommended are quick and reliable with good warranties. I generally stick with Samsung for SSDs and that is more of my reliance on known to be good products rather than searching for potentially better ones. I am sure others on the forum could answer that specific question for you rather than my lackluster reply.
