Hello,
I've purchased a https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N206SGAMING-OC-8GC#kf GPU. The GPU has one 6+2 pin and one 6 pin power connectors. When I've tried to install it I realised I only have 2x6 pin cable connectors.

I've tried to google the problem and from what I've seen the general solution is to buy an adapter. But the threads were for GPUs with only one 6+2 pin connector and didn't have additional 6 pin like this card. Can I just buy one 6 -> 6+2 pin adapter without bricking the GPU or buy a new PSU?

My PSU should be http://us.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/powersupply/legacy-psu/extreme-power-plus-500w.html.

I strongly advise getting a new PSU because adapters are a cheap way to do things and there can be risk involved with adapters. I think it's like asking for trouble.

There is a reason your PSU was only designed with 6 pin plugs.

The gpu should be exactly the same, but for the PSU link I cannot say the same. The model is the same but I have a different version. Anyways, thank you all for advice. I'll be getting a new unit. :)
