hello, so i have seasonic ss-700hm and rx580 4gb nitro+ the thing is it needs 1x6 and 1x8 pin. my psu has 2 modular cable one is 6 pin and other one double 6 pin so if i connect 2x6 to 8pin convertor will it draw 75 or 150watts?

Solution
The SS-700HM should have four 6pin connectors and one 6+2 (which forms an 8pin).

PCI-Express Connector 4 x 6-Pin, 1 x 6+2-Pin

If you lost the 6+2 cable, then yes, you could adapt two 6pins into a single 8 pin via a basic adapter.
A lot of GPUs used to actually ship with one in the box, although I don't believe that's widespread anymore.

As far as what it'll draw, that hinges on the device (GPU) side, not on the connector.

In terms of spec'd maximums, as per the ATX standard:
6 pin PCIe connectors are spec'd for 75W/each.
An 8pin connector is spec'd for a max 150W

So (essentially) 2x6pin = 8pin.

A lot of cheap 2x6 to 8pins adapters exist, but rarely...

Personally, I'd spent a little more ($10-$15 vs $5 or so) for something known to be reliable.
