I'm looking to buy a new flash drive to store homemade movies on but the one I want (http://www.ebay.com/itm/251338875104) is a USB 3.0 and in the reviews it said that "The device works as well as expected on my computer and music equipment, but since my television doesn't read 3.0 I can't use it for my main purpose of purchase" would this be a problem for me since I'm at least 99% sure that my computer doesn't have USB 3.0 ports.

USB ports are backward compadible, meaning you can use newer gens on the older platform. Get it, it will still work, and when you do get USB 3.0, it will work a bit faster.

thanks, that's what I thought.
