The 3.5mm audio cable is not working on the rear audio port (motherboard: MAXIMUS VIII RANGER) but is working on the front audio port. My headphones are working well at the same rear audio port. Can anyone say what the solution is?

My Speaker Components:
- Bluetooth speaker model: Oraimo OBS-82DN
- 3.5mm Audio Cable

Need more information; make and model of headphones; make and model of case; etc. Describe or show picture of headphone plug, audio cable plug, etc.

Information updated.
There are 2 types of plugs: one is called TRRS which is a combined headphone and microphone plug and that is the one shown in the picture of your 3,5 mm cable. The second is called TRS and is commonly used for headphones which do not include any microphone. The front or rear headphone jacks are designed for TRS plugs. So you would need an adapter that combines the microphone and headphone jacks on the front or back of your computer into 1 jack which matches your headphones. Something like this might help:

Thanks for your cooperation.

For additional experience:
- If I buy a 3.5mm 3-pole male-to-male ( TRS) audio cable, will it work?

Yes, those are the proper plugs for your motherboard and case sockets.
Yes, by default, the cable was with the speaker as TRS M to M, but the shopkeeper offered another cable when I purchased and kept the original cable (maybe I was requesting a long-length cable, then they gave me TRRS cable) 😀

I just bought TRS M to M cable. The issue has been resolved. 😍
