Im looking to get a 144hz monitor for gaming and I already have 2 (21.5 1920x1080) monitors. I only have a single card Gigabyte gtx 960 G1 and was wondering if this was enough to run 3 monitors at good framerate.

current build:
Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherbaord
AMD FX 8370 4.3 ghz
16gb 3200Mhz
Thermaltake 600w PSU
and the Gigabyte gtx 960 G1

You would definitely be stretching the limits of your card. Achieving 144 fps might not be possible to the extent of being advantageous. You can try. I would be curious to know the benchmarks. A 1060 would be a huge upgrade for a tight budget and huge performance gains.

The 770 did a pretty decent job at 5760 x 1080 ... well better than I expected... the web site that did the test is down but if ya stop the video, you can see the results here... suggest turning sound off

You can use 2-4 in displays in 2D Surround, 1 Accessory Display when using 3 or less displays in Surround. Ypud have to decrease settings or live at 30 fps in most games

However, given that I expect your 144 Hz monitor will be a 24" model (Asus VG248QE or BenQ w/ same panel), and the others are not 144 hz ... seems logical that you do not intend to do a 5760 x 1080 setup but use the 144 hz for gaming and the others for ventrillo, monitoring utilities or whatever else you are using in background.
