3 Pin To USB?

Im building this fan thing for 4 reasons.

1. I have nothing better to do than build this thing
2. It will look pretty cool when its done
3. Why wouldnt i spend $250 on a fan?
4. E-Penis before = ---> E-Penis after = ------------------->

Awesome, thanks for the link. This is probably how ill mount the fans. At first i was just going to just super glue them together, but using a frame similar to the one the CoolBox guy used is a much better idea.

dont know if you have done it yet but the best way to hook up 3 pin fans outside a comp is by using a 3 pin to molex translator then using a external usb to molex so you and just pug up the molex or molex's to a usb port ive done it for a super laptop cooler, little bulky but owns all heat.

ok well i took the fan out of a burnt out laptop cooler, and spliced it t a usb cable it works and then i can run it off my iphone wall charger 😛
