hi i'm thinking about upgrading my old gpu(8760 hd) to an iChill gtx 970 but the problem is my case zalman z11 it says it has room for 300mm gpu and the ichill is exactly 30 but will it then fit? if it can the what about the pci express cables? please help

i can list specs if nesseseray

I have a Zalman Z-11 (not the plus model) case. My GTX 770 which is 11.4 inches (about 289.6 mm) barelly fits in there. And I mean BARELLY!!! My cables for my BR drive are smashed against the HDD cage to get through. I would recommend to you, that NO, it will not fit.

Really, the GTX970 doesn't need such a massive cooler to run both cool and quiet, so I can't help but think you have created a rod for your own back here.
The Asus Strix, MSI Gaming or Gigabyte CUII twin fan coolers are shorter and are well respected for their quiet operation and low temperatures.
And no, I wouldn't advise you to try and fit that card into that case either.

the reason the ichill is on thelist of topic is mainly the style (and reviews) and i just like lopng gpu's :/
and my psu is a corsair 850 RM
and i measured it myself and then i can see its about 31 cm from the output to the cage (removed the thingy)
