Hello, I recently asked for help on this site regarding a PC build and someone did an amazing job of assisting me. Here is that thread. Well it took me to long to scrounge up the money and alot of the parts he recommending have changed in price. I have the money right NOW!!!

So I was wondering if someone could help me with a 300 dollar PC build ,for gaming mostly. I have some extra money for shipping and handling if need be. I also plan to use Linux so I won't need an OS. If you could keep it less than or equal to 300 dollars that would be great.

I'm aware of linux lack of support for gaming. But for free I'm not complaining, I've seen forum threads of games that have no linux support being played on linux, some of them being early access games made by indie developers. The OS comes seconds. I personaly would rather have good parts then an OS that is twicked once a year and finished with a new price tag.

I need to pospone this build till monday(3/31/14) so my bad for jumping the gun. I would like to reask this question monday, I want the best deals at the time so I would like to order it the same day the parts are put together to maximize savings. Sorry for any wasted time.

I would agree mastorm101 but I've been gaming on a console for about 6 years now and I started on a computer. A console to me feels restricted and simple. While a computer feels free and can be as simple or as complex as you want. Also consoles haven't been going in the right direction in my opinion and they get their content slower. Being as I already own an xbox 360 and don't want to make the jump to the xbox one or playstation 4, I would very much like a computer over a console. Being on a budget has forced me down the line of consoles and I have been displeased.

The reason the price is set to $300 is because I would like to build 3 of them but there is a little bit of wiggle room with the price but not much. But as I said I need to wait till monday(3/31/2014). I'll let this thread die now.

So you are looking to build 3 computers, and you have a budget of $300 for each? What does this build require in full? Is it just the system, or do you need mice/keyboards/monitors?

All my questions have been answered. I wasn't using the pcpartpicker website correctly I got the build to fall into my price range. Sorry for my ignorance everyone.
