Im looking for any picks for around 300. Looking to buy for image and video editing so i dont really need a dedicated gpu but having one wont hurt. Please suggest any builds. Thanks.

in all honesty i would be looking at the second hand market for an old i7 (like an i7 2600k).

ram and gpu's are very expensive at the moment, which makes it hard to a budget build at all.

assuming you don't need windows, mouse keyboard and monitor - this is as close as i could get. you could maybe get a case with a power supply already in it to lower the cost a bit.

Take a look at this site: http://www.logicalincrements.com/ for some suggestions. Also, check the requirements for the video editing software you plan to use. Note that video editing typically needs a multi-core, multi-thread CPU for reasonable performance. A $300 PC is very, very low end for this task.
