Question 300W PSU for GT 1030 + i3-8100

I'm wanting to put together a build mainly for watching TV shows and Films, and maybe play some games from a few years ago.

I decided on a GT-1030 and an i3-8100. I've looked at a few different peoples calculations for what wattage PSU I should get, as well as just googling for this build, but I'm getting recommendations from 250W-400W. I was thinking I would need around 250W-300W, but seeing the higher recommendations scared me into thinking I might destroy my build, so it would be better to ask people that know better than me.

I'd be running it with 1 DDR4 8GB stick, 1 blu-ray drive and 1 SSD

Get a decent 450w to run and Protect your components. Going to cheap puts your setup at risk.

I'd say you would be fine with Quality 300W since its a 30W GPU as long as you never upgrade
