Question 3070 TI low fps

Hi all!

I hope someone here can help me. My PC is custom built had a family member build it few years ago. I've upgraded a lot since. But i'm having issues with fps i play a lot of Call Of Duty and my fps moves around a lot between 80/115. My friend who almost had same exact build as mine his fps is right around 200. I did userbenchmark test and here is my results. my monitor which i dont know if that is a issue is 32" Odyssey G7

Your memory is only running at 2133mhz. Set your xmp to 3600 and you should see expected fps.

I tried looking up videos on how to set my xmp but didn’t really find anything. I have a MSI x470 motherboard. I can’t find where in bios do I go to change it.

sorry couldn't fit text in with the image...Go to bios and look for A-xmp setting, change it to 3600mhz.

So my bios doesn’t look like that. Its different. It just says MSI click bios not click bios 5. I found a-xmp changed it to profile one and still didn’t change my memory to 3600. But this time when I ran benchmark. It said under memory performing below potential. Ensure that a duel + channel xmp bios profile is enabled.

I also changed DRAM configuration from auto to DDR 4 360p and I saved and restarted computer and got an error message saying “memory overclocking fail. System is boot up with default settings.” And it forces me back into bios to change it back.

So I misspoke about setting your memory speed. The 5900x supports only up to 3200mhz. I looked at your ram and it is capable for speeds up to 3600mhz but your processor will only support up to 3200mhz ram speed. Any change in your fps now?

Sorry two other questions what slots are your ram sticks occupying on the motherboard? What bios version is your motherboard using?

Oh yes. Huge changes. I’m hitting about 200fps now. Thank you so much for helping me. It like feels brand new again lol.
