Hi! I came upon a sale of a Team T-Force Vulcan 32GB going up for 280 bucks, and a G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB for 170 bucks. I'm wondering which one I should go for? Like quality wise other than the RAM size. Thanks! (Both are ddr4 2400)

16GB should be ample headroom for gaming/streaming/light editing. If you needed >16GB for your specific workload, you'd know already.

Given the cost of RAM right now, it's going to be much more economical to test out 16GB first and add more IF you need it.

A 2x8GB DDR4 2400MHz kit was <$100 a year ago. Unless you *need* 32GB now, I doubt you'd end up spending more than the $280 proposed already in the long run.

$170 now and IF it's needed, +$100 or so when prices level out.

Yeah, I considered that factor too but still don't know. I use it for gaming basically but just think that it may be good to have some headroom. Thanks for replying so fast!

for gaming 16gb is plenty, but if you decide you want to get into video editing you will want 32 if you work with large or high res (1440p or 4k) video files.
