I have been running my P4 with 256MB RIMM4200 RDRAM at 533MHz since 9/02. Today however I installed a 256MB stick of OCZ RIMM4200 RDRAM and it changed my memory speed to 400MHz. I attempted to change the cpu/memory frequency in BIOS to 4x instead of auto, and that only resulted in the system not booting. I am not familiar with RDRAM but it seems like they sold me a RIMM3200 labled as 4200 (dropping to the slowest module). Is there a program or something I can use to verify it is what it says it is? Or has anyone else seen this and know how to fix it? Any help is appreciated, I need to know if I need to send this back.

It definately sounds like you were cheated, perhaps you can google the numbers written on the chip.
