32GB DIMM DDR4 clocked @ 2747 MHz NOT 3200 Asus ROG MAXIMUS X HERO

Hello all,

I have 32GB DIMM DDR4 clocked @ 2747 - with cpu-z, .
I wanted 3200 mhz, which the ram can do (and MB supports 3200(O.C.))
So the Asus bios auto set the ram @2747 with xmp settings enabled.
I changed it to 3193 mhz, and it did not boot??

Should i just leave it alone? I am not gaming, trading and other things, maybe its fine, see bench below and running at 92.9%.

Try to save bios profile and reset f5 everything. After reset go to ram setting and choose 3200 xmp profile, see if it works.

I F5 reset, and only changed dram to 3200 mhz - it did not boot, so then I changed again, F5, and changed profile to XMP, everything else the same(auto) except again 3200 mhz set on the dram,....and it worked, I am getting 3200, and benchmark at 103%

Question -am I ok, with EVO 212 tower cooler for cpu,...I didn't think I needed water, but It said that when I changed my profile )!,

You are ok with any cooler, its only question if you gong to overclock 8700k or not. 212 has amazing price/performance ratio, Cryorig H7 is great budget cooler too, Noctua d15, cryorig R1 are beast AIR coolers which i always prefer over AIO.
