I'm looking to put 32GB Ram in the ASRock Fatal1ty Z68 board, but having a lot of trouble working out weather the 8GB ram out there will actually work. I'll be using the 2600 i7 CPU. Note, I'm not going to be overclocking this, it is a virtual server, running ESX5 or HyperV.
I've noticed a number of people suggesting trouble if you dont get all your RAM togeather.

which wont give me a kit of 4 at all.
Even if I end up purchasing 4GB sticks, do I really need to purchase a kit of 4? or will 2 kits of 2 be ok?
