I recently upgraded from 16gb of RAM to 32gb and for some reason it seems to be going slower than it was before.

I'll have excel and firefox (20 tabs) open and the task manager will show 24% to 36% memory usage which doesn't seem right at all. I'm also getting cursor lag that I didn't have before.

Is there something I need to tweet in the settings to get my computer to use all of the available memory? Yes, all windows updates, hardware drivers are up to date.

What does your system show for total installed memory ? Search Windows for 'System Information' and find 'Installed Physical Memory (RAM)' at the top of the lower third of the list on the first page you see.

Is the cursor lag the only decrease in performance?

It shows 32gb. Cursor lag is the most annoying but it also starts running slow with 20 browser tabs etc. The overall speed is somewhat slower than when I had 16gb and was sure if I needed to tweak something in the mobo bios to wake them up.

Is the RAM and the QVL and which BIOS version are you running? BIOS 3610 (2018.04.14) provided a memory compatibility update whilst the final BIOS update 3805 (2018.05.25) provided system stability. The BIOS version is listed at the bottom of the top third of the System Information list as mentioned before. Just to be certain, are you running Win 10 64 bit or 32 bit? Search "About" in Windows Search and look for 'System Type' under 'Device Specifications'.
