Hi,
I got to decide between 34 Inch with 2560 x 1080 and 27 Inch with 2560 x 1440. I'm not into gaming. Mostly work and you tube videos. I have multiple windows most of the times and planning to connect to 2 laptops and hoping I can have them display side by side sometimes. Which one do you suggest ?
34 Inch - P3418HW
27 Inch - U2719D
Thanks,
Ryan

Wow, I completely misread that as a 32" 1440p panel vs 1080p 21:9 27".

Do you have a local store with display models? MicroCenter etc....
If so, head down & check out a ~34" 1080p ultrawide display and see what you think.

From what I've seen in reviews etc, 21:9 1080p ultrawide, you're generally looking at ~30" as the ideal. Whether 34" is too big, is probably subjective.
Really depends on the workload. 21:9 sounds like a better option for you, with multiple windows etc, generally speaking.

That being said though, a 27" 21:9 monitor is a little on the small side IMO. 29"-32" would be a better idea, if possible.

Of the two, the U2719D sounds a little more fit for purpose... but a better balance of the two options would be my recommendation.

Thanks for your response. 27" U2719D is 16:9 and not 21:9
34" Inch - is a curved one with 21:9 and 2560 x 1080 @ 60Hz
27" Inch - is a flat one with 16:9 and 2560X1440 @60Hz

34" sounds good but I'm worried about any blurriness since it is only 2560 x 1080 @ 60 Hz. While 27 Inch has better PPI. Additionally I dont want to put too much load on my laptops (Dell Latitudes) for displaying on 2560 x 1440. So, I'm confused.

for 34" 2560x1080 is not really so great, the resolution is low. If you want 34" go for 3440x1440. Also when you work (what does that mean exacly? are you movie maker, developer, graphich designer?) and watch youtube, it's better to have 16:9 (YT content is in this format). If you would watch fullscreen videos on 21:9 you will have black borders.
I have 27" 2560x1440 Dell monitor and I am very satisfied with it.

I'm a developer. I have multiple windows open always. I was thinking on 34" may be I can have both my laptops displayed on it at the same time. with 27" it might be difficult. But yes the DPI is big difference. On 27" with 2560 x 1440 it is 109 where as on 34" with 2560 x 1080 is 82. That could make a difference.
