So i am looking for a Pc to play CsGo and Minecraft on with music (like Youtube or Pandora) in the background and talking in Teamspeak. I first had a budget of $350 then i took my budget up to $500. I want to know how much better the $500 build would be than the $350 build. Also i have 2 $500 builds (One of them is a edited version of the original) i would like to know which one is better. Also the reason im probally gonna go with JackFrags build because he has a video explaining how to put it together. Also if you could give me a estimate of the FPS i would get with these builds that would be great (yes i know the links have FPS benchmarks) or just tell me which one would get better FPS. Also which one would last longer and would give me more bang for my Buck. Thanks!

Some issues. the PSu in your $350 build is TERRIBLE. It WILL damage/destroy the PC. this is the single most important part of a PC and is NEVER to be cheaped out on. So basically the $350 build won;t even work.

Jack's build is OK, but an i3 would be better.

Your edit of jack's build looks good. the Motherboard will probably need a BIOS update in order to boot with that CPU though.

Your $500 plan is like 10x better than the $350 build in terms of gaming power.
Yes, the motherboard might ship with an older BIOS version that doe snot support the CPU. You would need to update it. The only way to do that is to get a compatible CPU. I recommend changing the motherboard to one that works out of the box, or a CPU that woks with that board out of the box.

So either get:

H81 board with i3 4130
or
H97 board with i3 4160.

obviously double the score will not mean double the fps because many other factors will dictate the fps predominantly the gpu. i did however show 2 different benchmark tests where the x5677 beet the i3 by a significant margin and from personal experiance with both can tell you the xeon is quicker.

so im looking at the h97 boards which brand would be the best for my i3 4160?Like which brand is most trustworthy?

Also if i get windows on a disk will i need to get a optical drive or can i burn it onto a flashdrive?

Ok and if i decide to get a cd drive would it be fine if i just cheap out on it for like $10. Also do i need a ethernet cable adapter( im pretty sure that it is standard and i dont need one) but if i cant get a long enought enthernet cable and i buy a wifi card should i go cheap on it or go for a nice one?

I used that board for a mini-itx build, awhile back. The wifi worked just fine.
