Hi all,

I'm currently putting together a small HTPC, upgrading from my tiny atom-processor PC. I know anything these days will be miles faster than the atom, but just would like to see if I had pieced together a good deal, so if there are changes to be made I can do so promptly :)

The specs are:
- i5-3350P 3.1ghz
- 8gb Kingston HyperX
- 128 SSD + 500 HD
- MSI Gamer X 1050TI 4gb
- Shuttle XPC Cube Case (http://global.shuttle.com/news/productsSpec?productId=1555)

I think this is a good find since affordable small mITX sized case is hard to come by.
The case does have a 250W PSU, but I'm willing to take this risk since I've seen many people use the 1050ti plug and play with 240-250W PSU.

The purpose for this PC would mainly be for: netflix, youtube, mild couch gaming (e.g. NBA 2K, maybe try some AAA games at low graphics 1080p)

Thank you!

I may be able to help you more if you tell me how much you are spending on the individual pieces including shipping. Otherwise looks like a pretty decent build for the money considering your requirements.

nvidia shield is great. if you can wire it and wire your pc moonlight is awesome. (m/k might not be there)

AMD APU can run a decent number of games. ryzen 3 2200g or 5 2400g. it's near the gt 1030 level. for 1050 or above u need addin.
