[SOLVED] 3840 x 1600 only in 30hz

Hello,
I bought a new Monitor (LG 38WK95C) and its only showing with 30hz at the resolution of 3840 x 1600.
If I look at the modes of the GPU (GTX 270 Ti) it can even show 3840 x 2100.

Is there a way to get it working with 60hz?

Maybe try uninstalling and re-installing display drivers.

Are you using a HDMI 2.0 (Ultra High Speed I think? I hate HDMI's cable branding...) cable? if you're using an older 1.4 cable there isn't enough bandwidth for that resolution at 60Hz.

Please can you check the gpu, I don’t think a GTX270Ti exists.

Yes I've tried one that is working with 4k and 60hz on my TV.

From what I found online the 750Ti has HDMI 1.4 and therefore only supports 4K 30Hz.

Yes I found that too but I wonder why I can Display a higher resolution in 60hz (as you can see on the screenshot i postet)

At 4:2:0 chroma.

I'm kind of surprised it can't output 3840 x 1600 @ 60Hz, but I guess that's because it's a non-standard resolution; at 4:2:0 HDMI 1.4 has the bandwidth. You can try forcing a custom resolution/refresh and see if that takes.
