3D Prophet 4500 problems

When i play rogue spear the maps that have fog effects in it the screen has vertical lines in it and is distorted. It wasnt like that with my old RIVA TNTzx. I have the latest patches and drivers for the game and video card already and i've updated everything on my computer that i can think of. Anyways heres the specs of my computer and thanks in advance for helping me out.

Pentium III 600MHz processor (slot)
320MB RAM
DirectX 8.0a
Giga-byte BX2000+ motherboard with fully upgraded bios
3D Prophet 4500 64MB retail video card w/ driver ver 8.162a
windows 98 SE OEM
Rogue spear with the 1.05 patch
80GB hard drive

ps. i just installed the hard drive and video card 3 days ago and i dont have much on my computer right now...also nothing is overclocked although i can overclock stuff

OH NO!! All I read were good reviews about that card, except for the occasional few weird probs, and it looks like this is one of them. I don't think you can do anything, but hope for better drivers to come out.
