Question 3DMark Stress Test Fail after GPU/RAM/PSU Upgrade

Hey,

I have recently upgraded from a 5700XT to a 7900XT, 650w to 1200w PSU, and dropped in 2 more sticks of DDR4 RAM. I am getting a lot of stuttering and hitching in games. I realized that Smart Access Memory wasn't on after I upgraded to Windows 11 so I went ahead and turned that on and fixed my RAM frequencies (which were incorrect, they are now at 3200) and it seemed to help the problem by around 80% but I am still experiencing some stutters. The 3DMark benchmark stress test seems to have proven this after scoring an 83.1% (FAIL):

Here's screenshots of the benchmark (forum is not allowing me to upload the image)

Things I have tried:
- Clean DDU uninstall
- Installed latest Adrenaline drivers (24.1.1) at the time of this writing
- Enabled SAM
- Split power cables running separate 2 PCIe to PSU

Any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking about just returning this card as I'm not sure what to do.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You have 2 more BIOS versions pending an update, update to the latest version. Got a link to the rams you're using? If they are Corsair sticks of ram/kits, you should look into the PCB's revision number on both kits.

For anyone in the future that comes across this I fixed the issue.

TLDR: My card was hot.

I had it positioned on the bottom slot of my case so there wasn't enough airflow. This was probably causing thermal throttling. I also increased the fan curve from 45 to 60 and now it is performing beautifully. Went from 85-90C down to 65C. And passed the stress test 99.2%!
