3GB DDR3 vs 8GB DDR3

I'm upgrading from 3GB's of Kingston DDR3 1333MHz to 8GB's of G.Skill DDR3 1333MHz. Will I notice a performance difference? thanks!

You will but not in the way that you think , you still have 1333mhz speed and most programs don't use a lot of ram , even games. You will be able to have a lot of windows open and web page tabs when surfing. It won't make your computer faster just able to do more without running out of memory.
